I still start to weep every time RBG gets discussed on the news. The best short response I’ve seen — and I’m not sure who coined it — is a twist on the Jewish habit (I would say superstition, but that wouldn’t be respectful) of saying, when the name of a dead person is mentioned, “May her name be a blessing.” I first saw it on a Planned Parenthood e-mail about her death:
“May her memory be a movement.”
That’s a sentiment I can support.
